The course rating is 71.8 and it has a 128 slope rating. You will be treated to a high desert environment with huge Ponderosa and pinion pines, and juniper trees. This community is located just four-miles from the town of Ridgway and about 30-miles from the city of Montrose. The city of Ouray, Telluride and the Black Canyon National Park are also within close driving distance.
The Bridges Golf Club in Montrose, Colorado is an 18-hole course designed by Jack Nicklaus. It offers some of the most challenging and fun holes on the Western Slope. The Bridges is under new management and also offers some of the best dining in Montrose at Remington’s.
The 18-hole, par 72, Cornerstone Club Golf Course and Community in Montrose, Colorado features a signature Greg Norman design, 8,000 yards in length, and par 72 championship golf course. Rolling meadows and aspen groves cover the 6,000-acre golf and equestrian community.
If you’re looking for golf in Telluride, visit the Mountain Village Golf Country Club. Part of the Telluride Ski & Golf Country Club and Golden Door Spa, the 6,679 yard course is an 18-hole, par 70 with a course rating of 71.0 and a slope rating of 130.
The Cobble Creek golf course and community is located in Montrose, Colorado. The 530-acre property sits at an elevation of 5,800 feet. Ten lakes are interspersed along the 6,982-yard, par 72, 18-hole championship golf course. Cobble Creek homes host magnificent views of the gorgeous Cimarron and San Juan Mountains. Though the golf course is open to the public, residents are given priority for tee times.
The Black Canyon Golf Club of Montrose, is a par 70, 18-hole, 6,196 yard course. The course rating is 68.1 and the slope rating is 123. Built in 1960, this is the oldest golf course in the area.
Devil’s Thumb Golf Course in Delta features a 6,878-yard, par 72, 72.6 rating course with a slope rating of 126. Your game may be interrupted by the unique and expansive scenery you’ll view while playing, including: the San Juan Mountains, West Elks Mountains, the Black Canyon and the Uncompahgre Plateau.
